Adding this to RA2.ini stopped the game from even launching.
The various forums I searched say to download files and go make changes in the directory (including the Yuri fix list from this forum). Got a black screen although I can hear the mouse and music. Added 'VideoBackBuffer' to no underneath '' in the RA2.ini and RA2MD.ini (was already in the RA2MD.ini). Just bought and downloaded the C&C Ultimate Collection from Origin, installed RA2/Yuris Revenge and fired it up.Set 'SingleProcAffinity' to 1 in 'aqrit.cfg'.I have also tried running in 'Compatibility Mode' for Windows XP Service Pack 3, as suggested in another post.The fix for Yuri's Revenge when the above didn't work and ran the game in 'Compatibility mode' (for Windows 7), along with 'Reduced Color Mode' and all other settings as shown in the post.Made sure 'ForceDirectDrawEmulation' was set to 1 in 'aqrit.cfg'.Putting ' ts-ddraw' or ' DDrawCompat' or ' ddwrapper' into my Red Alert 2 directory.I followed the guide on under 'I have the Origin version from The Ultimate Collection' as well as the 'Handling Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge on Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10'.
I've been having this issue for years now. I can't complete any missions because the game either freezes or crashes midway. I've tried an entire list of 'fixes' so far and nothing has solved the issue for me.
